About Worstead Estate
Farmers markets, camping, garden parties, Highland Cow air braiding… it’s all happening at THE FARM @ Worstead Estate, located between the Norfolk Broads and North Norfolk Coast.
A mixed farm fully embracing diversification, Worstead’s approach is regenerative wherever possible, with potatoes and salad crops grown in rotation, alongside a livestock system which includes Highland cattle, Norfolk Horn sheep and outdoor pigs. The onsite Wildcraft Brewery and Tap Room uses grain grown on the farm to make its handcrafted beer, with spare grain feeding the Jaggard’s Fold Highland cattle, which in turn, help to fertilise the crops for the next year’s barley, creating a circular and sustainable cycle. It’s likely the harvest and livestock from the farm will be found on a plate at a local eatery too, with the potential for that steak, chips and beer all originating from Worstead Estate.
Building on the success of the brewery and tap room, and hosting the farmers market, the Worstead team is looking to explore new opportunities for enterprises that integrate with the array of on-farm activities. At the heart of this is a desire to build a stronger sense of community around the estate, creating more opportunities for people to come together and enjoy all that Worstead has to offer.

Who?
Bruce Paterson is the owner and director of Worstead Estate, which came into the family’s ownership in the 1950s. A third generation farmer, Bruce, and his brothers, are following in the footsteps of their grandfather and father. The estate continues to develop its farming operations, while diversifying and exploring new opportunities across the business.

Aish Bakery
A family run micro-bakery in North Norfolk specialising in bread, cakes and deli items. They have a wide range of pastries, treats and savory goodies to pick from, and make naturally leavened sourdough from scratch on site using zero artificial additives or commercial yeast in their genuine sourdough.
