Nature & community at Hampton Estate, and head of natural capital at Knepp Estate
—
Molly leads on nature-based solutions and community engagement for Hampton Estate. She coordinates Hampton’s habitat restoration projects, runs its community engagement events, volunteering community and external communications. Molly was lucky enough to grow up at Hampton so has worked many a hop harvest and helped with the cows for as long as she can remember.
Molly studied geography at university then worked in rural research, specialising in post-Brexit farming policy and nature markets. She works at Hampton part time alongside her job as head of natural capital at Knepp Estate in Sussex, where she is involved in Weald to Waves and the River Adur Landscape Recovery project and facilitates the Upper Adur Farming Cluster. She is a columnist for Farmers Weekly and an ambassador for Open Farm Sunday. When she’s not thinking about regenerative farming and nature restoration, she’ll be found exploring Scotland on her bike or in her van.
